ANTIQUE AND VINTAGE

Today I went to the Two Women Vintage Goods' Antique and Crafts Show.  They had all sorts of anitque items, I couldn't focus on any one item. This served as great inspiration for today's 'Picture of Day'. This picture is perfect because the coffee table is a repurposed wood pallet and this was the sort of thing I saw at the fair.

I didn't go too crazy at the show, but ended up coming home with an antique sled, which I got for my mom because she has a whole collection of vintage and antique items, and an old metal suitcase, which is for me! I'll post pictures of what I bought in a few days, but for now have a great rest of your weekend!

I have been wanting to join my local walking photography club, bbuutt....I don't have a camera that would be sufficient enough to join. I just don't think my point and shoot dinky camera is going to cut it! I'm still researching the best camera for me, but will let you know if I get what I want for Chirstmas!

What do you want for Christmas?

GLITTERIZING

(I know its a little late to be posting on this, but I thought it would still be fun!)

So Aaron and I didn't get our pumpkins from Greenbluff (instead it was actually from Safeway) but the point is we finally got them!

I always like to be different when it comes to pumpkin decorating. For example. last year I got a white pumpkin instead of the traditional orange. This year I decided to glitterize my pumpkins.

All I needed was glitter in my choice of color, which I decided to do silver and black, spray on glue, and some newspaper to catch the stray glitter pieces.

All I did was turn the pumpkin on its side, sprayed glue section by section, and sprinkled glitter over the glue.

To finish the project off I dug out some scrap black and white fabric as a table cloth and displayed my sparkling pumpkins!
